    Are you talking about the God of Abraham sending people to hell for breaking rules outlined in the Bible? Or something else?

    I don't think it's ethical either way if we're looking at the Abrahamic God. In both cases someone sent to hell would be punished solely for the sake of being punished, and not to try to alter future actions. I don't believe in punishment for punishment's sake.

    I don't believe we have free will. Except the Rush song. Which we certainly have.
